JBS Bisulfite Conversion (BSC) Assay Kit
- Standardized assay with reproducible results
- Ready to use system with simple workflow
- Specific and sensitive for up to 10 copies
- For research use only
The JBS Bisulfite Conversion (BSC) assay kit is a real-time PCR assay for the evaluation of bisulfite conversion. The kit provides reagents optimized for rapid and sensitive detection using the Roche LightCycler® 480 or LightCycler® 96 instrument
Product Details
JBS BSC assay kit is a methylation-independent qPCR assay that targets a 64 bp region on human chromosome 15. The bisulfite-converted DNA qPCR product has a more distinct melting peak than the corresponding untreated DNA. Thus, by comparing the same DNA that has been BSC-treated and non-treated, one can evaluate the performance of the bisulfite conversion kit used. The kit utilizes SYBR Green dye for quantification on Roche LightCycler® 480 or LightCycler® 96 platform. Reagents in kit include assay mix and assay DNA. There are sufficient amount of reagents for 50 reactions
The kit does not contain LightCycler® 480 SYBR Green I Master.
